*On Erev Pesach which falls on Shabbat, one may not eat regular matzah, and it is problematic to eat hametz. Five possible solutions have been proposed throughout the generations. In our day, one should burn and nullify hametz on Friday morning and eat matzah ashirah (egg matzah) at all of the Shabbat Erev Pesach meals.
