Jan joined Adat Shalom on moving back from Northern California twelve years ago,. Before returning to Southern California, she had been a member of the Board of Directors at a small shul in the Castro Valley as well as Temple Secretary & Executive Assistant for Congregation Beth Emek in Livermore, CA. At Adat Shalom, she has been active in Woman’s League (current president) and, for the past few years, part of the community council. Jan has three adult children of which two were had their Bat Mitzvah at Adat Shalom. Jan is an active voluteer with Girl Scouts, All Year Figure Skating Club and the Los Angeles Children’s Museum.
